As we reach the end of another school year, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership.
On behalf of all of the staff we want to say thank you for your kindness with gifts and words this week too. I know that to read or hear a message of thanks makes the teacher’s day and year. So thank you.
Reflecting on the year, it has been a joy to witness the growth and achievements of our pupils — not only academically, but also in how they shine as individuals and support one another.
This year marked a special milestone as we welcomed Nursery children for the first time. It has brought many proud moments —from our youngest learners taking their first steps into education, to their joyful ‘graduation’ last week. We also celebrated the school’s 50th birthday and it was lovely to welcome KGB alumni into the school.
We bid farewell to our leavers as they prepare for exciting new chapters ahead, and to Mrs Clayton, who is retiring. We send her our heartfelt thanks and wish her love, joy, and happiness in her retirement. The school presented her with this beautiful jug painted with a picture of our school in the hope that she will always remember us.
As we look forward to the summer holidays, this newsletter is filled with good news and celebrations.
I hope the positivity continues throughout the break, and that it becomes a time of rest, laughter, and cherished memories for all your families.
Mrs McCormick
