Year 2 is such an exciting year as the children progress through their journey at KGB school. The children are encouraged to become more independent and take more responsibility for their own learning. Year 2 is taught by Mrs Jenkins with the support of Miss Edwards and Mrs Atkinson.
This year the topics we are learning are:
- Where we live
- Why we celebrate Bonfire Night
- What the wonders of the world are
- Great inventions in transport
- Where our favourite animals live
- How holidays have change.
Each term the children have an opportunity to undertake a presentation to the rest of the class on a topic of their choice. The children love this and also helps the children to develop their confidence and oracy skills.
