Harvest
Leading the Harvest Church Service at St Augustine’s this week was a lovely way to end the first half term of the year. This was some of the children’s first walk up to church and so a good opportunity for them to experience a worship out of our school hall and in our beautiful church. It was also a chance for staff and children alike to thank God for what we have, even when times are hard for us all. We do hope that the many parents who came also found it a reflective experience.
An enormous thank you for your generosity (as can see from the photographs below) in your harvest gifts which have been collected by Middlesbrough Food Bank. On behalf of everyone at school we would like to wish you a restful and happy half-term.
