This week, we said a fond farewell to Mrs Atkinson, who has been cooking at our school for an incredible 24 years. She originally joined us as temporary cover but never left – and we are so glad she stayed!
During her time with us, Mrs Atkinson has served an estimated 370,000 school meals - probably more!
The whole school came together to say thank you and wish her a long, happy and well-deserved retirement. We marked the occasion with a poem read by the school, gifts and many
happy memories.
Thank you, Mrs Atkinson, for 24 years of dedication, kindness and service. We wish you every happiness in your retirement.
